R.I.S.E. Criminal Behavior Profile™ for Case Theme Development

Case-specific intake for background, behavioral history, and life-context profiling to help build case theme.

What it is

A structured profile for litigation strategy

The R.I.S.E. Criminal Behavior Profile™ is a confidential, case-specific intake designed to capture the background, behavioral history, and life-context factors that shape an individual's story. It is used by Dr. Merizier and her team to help attorneys build coherent, behaviorally grounded case themes.

What the profile covers

  • Adds behavioral-science context to sentencing and mitigation arguments
  • Helps explain conduct, decisions, and reactions without minimizing accountability
  • Supports theme development for plea negotiations, hearings, and trial
  • Completed by the client or interviewee as a confidential, case-specific intake
  • Reviewed by Dr. Merizier’s team for use in consulting or report preparation
How it works

Three components of the profile

The intake is organized into focused sections that help the legal team understand the whole person behind the case file.

Background Review

A structured review of family, social, educational, medical, and legal history to identify formative influences.

Behavioral History

Documentation of behavioral patterns, trauma history, coping mechanisms, and adaptive responses across the lifespan.

Life-Context Analysis

Synthesis of personal, cultural, and systemic context into a coherent narrative that supports case theme development.

Scope of Practice

This profile is completed as part of forensic victimology, human behavior analysis, and litigation consulting services provided by R.I.S.E. Consulting, LLC. It is not a psychological or psychoeducational evaluation. Any self-report data is descriptive and not a clinical diagnosis. Where information is characterized as potentially consistent with a recognized symptom pattern, further evaluation by a licensed mental health professional would be required to reach any clinical diagnosis.
