FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

What our profiles are, who they're for, and where our boundaries sit.

Common questions

Before you book

Do you diagnose learning disabilities, ADHD, or autism?

No. Every R.I.S.E. profile is a non-diagnostic educational tool. We describe learning preferences, habits, and skills for coaching and instructional planning. We do not diagnose, treat, or rule out any condition — and if a family needs a psychoeducational or clinical evaluation, we help them prepare for it and point them to appropriately licensed professionals.

What ages do you serve?

From elementary-age children through adults. Learning Style Discovery™ has a youth edition and an adult edition; our academic, executive-function, and emotional intelligence profiles serve teens through adults; and the Adult Learner Success Profile™ and Dissertation Completion Profile™ are built for college, returning, and doctoral learners.

Are assessments available online?

Yes. Every profile can be completed online through our secure client portal, and in-person administration is available for individuals, families, schools, and co-ops.

How soon do I get results?

Professional scoring and your full written results profile are typically ready within a few business days of completion, followed by a live results session where we translate the scores into plain-language next steps.

Do you accept Step Up scholarships?

We're happy to discuss scholarship options — contact us for current status.

Can I share my results with my child's school?

Yes. Your results profile is yours, and many families share it with teachers or support staff. It's written to be useful to educators — concrete instructional recommendations rather than clinical language.

Do your profiles work alongside an IEP or 504 plan?

They complement one, but never replace one. A R.I.S.E. profile can add practical detail about how a learner takes in information and manages work, which teams often find useful when planning supports. It is not an evaluation and cannot be used to establish eligibility for services.

What if the results raise bigger concerns?

We tell you plainly. If a profile surfaces patterns that fall outside educational coaching, we say so, explain what kind of professional can properly assess it, and help you prepare for that conversation. We would rather refer you out than keep you in a service that isn't the right one.
